Attention, witches, wizards, magical creatures, and Muggles alike! By owl post and enchanted invitation, you are cordially summoned to a magical evening of wonder, adventure, and spellbinding fun! Whether you arrive by broomstick, train, or flying car, prepare to be whisked away into a world of wizardry, where enchanting activity stations await your entire family. Come and go “open house” style as you explore, discover, and create your own magical adventure! Step beneath our talking Sorting Hat and discover which house awaits you, search for the Sorcerer’s Stone, encounter a menagerie of fantastic beasts, and enroll in Potions Class to stir up a little magic of your own. Craft your very own wand and put your wizarding skills to the test with a bit of friendly dueling! Meet our owl, rats, toads and keep your eyes peeled for the grandest serpent of them all—Nagini, our magnificent 15-foot Burmese python! From magical creatures and mysterious treasures to hands-on wizarding fun, there will be enchantment around every corner. This magical evening is open to witches, wizards, Muggles, adults, and children alike. Wizarding attire is highly encouraged, though costumes are not required, so dust off your robes, grab your wand, and come dressed for the occasion—or simply arrive as your marvelous Muggle self. Face painting will be offered for anyone looking to add a little magical sparkle to their attire. Just remember one very important rule: dark magic is strictly forbidden! Gather your favorite witches and wizards and prepare for an unforgettable evening where magic comes to life, adventure awaits, and every corner holds a little bit of wonder. Creatures of the Night!
October 21st 6pm-7pm $20/person Ages: 3+ Adult participation is required
Calling all night owls, brave explorers, and curious adventurers! When the sun goes down, a whole new world comes alive at Eco Adventures. Who is lurking in the shadows? Who is howling at the moon, soaring silently through the night, or slithering through the garden? Join us for Creatures of the Night, a family adventure where we’ll venture into the mysterious darkness to discover the fascinating creatures that come alive after sunset. Experience the sights and sounds of the nighttime jungle as we encounter a spectacular “lightning and thunderstorm” and gaze upon the glow of the Northern Lights before heading into the foggy darkness to meet some of our nocturnal residents up close! Test your courage with our Fear Factor Challenge, where you may encounter glowing scorpions, creepy-crawly tarantulas, and perhaps even have the chance to sample some edible bugs! Meet our Screech Owl and discover how these incredible hunters find their prey in complete darkness, then watch as our hedgehogs forage for worms under the cover of night. From croaking frogs and slithering snakes to lurking alligators and mysterious creatures hiding in the shadows, there’s no telling what you might encounter once the sun goes down. The sunset is just the beginning… and the night belongs to the creatures!
